We immediately note that we will consider the density of pillows using the example of modern polyester filler. Other options, for example, fluff, feather, buckwheat husk, etc., have their own characteristics. They cannot be considered together.
A truly soft pillow comes with a filling that is similar to down. That's what they call it - artificial fluff. The official name of this substance is polyester MICROFIBER of high quality. It is thin, densely covered with silicone, which makes it plump, elastic, voluminous and really soft. Pillows with artificial down filling are softness in its purest form.
A semi-soft level of stiffness can be achieved in two ways. Artificial down filling is placed inside, but at the same time, the pillow has a quilted cover and is densely filled, and thus its softness has been changed to a lesser degree. Such a pillow, reinforced with a cover, keeps its shape well and recovers quickly.
Another variant of a semi-soft or medium-firm pillow is when it has polyester fiber wrapped in balls inside. Balls make it elastic. This fiber is also treated with silicone, but the threads themselves are thicker and the level of silicone treatment is lower. This variant of the filler is cheaper. And the softness itself will depend more on how densely stuffed the pillow is. If the filler is less, it will be softer, if more - harder.
Hard pillows with a ball filler come from the fact that the pillow is heavily stuffed. For example, the Comfort pillow is semi-soft and weighs 550 g. While the Air Dream Exclusive pillow is hard and has 700 g of filler. At one size, it adds height and stiffness to the pillow. The more filler, the harder the pillow will be.
In order to make things universal, because people's bodies are different, we make a pillow design in which you can remove or add filler. The covers have a zipper.
