Oeko-Tex is a witness to the quality of textiles

International system of testing and certification of goods made of textile materials. It also limits the use of a number of chemicals in light industry.

Oeko-Tex branches are located in 40 countries and are represented by 17 research institutes. The Oeko-Tex certificate certifies that the purchased products are safe for human health and free of harmful substances.

Product samples are tested by independent institutes that are part of Oeko-Tex. The pH rate, the content of formaldehyde, heavy metals, chlorine-containing substances, etc. are measured.

The presence of the certificate certifies that the product is not able to cause allergies, there will be no allergenic dyes. The more the textile product comes into contact with human skin, the stricter the requirements for the materials used will be.

There are currently four classes of products subject to certification:
I = goods for children under three years;
II = articles in contact with human skin (underwear, blouses, shirts, bedding and accessories);
III = goods that do not come into contact with the skin (outerwear);
IV = accessories, finishing (tablecloths, textile coverings, curtains, fabric flooring, mattresses).

If the textile manufacturer's products meet all the requirements of Oeko-Tex, he receives a certificate and the right to place the Oeko-Tex mark on the product. The certificate needs an annual renewal. That is, product testing is performed regularly.

All products of TM IDEIA have Oeko-Tex class I certificates. This is the highest category of product safety. We carefully choose suppliers of materials, because we care about our reputation. You can be sure that our products will not harm your health.
