Hi all! Let's talk about price today. Our attentive customers, choosing the best option for a blanket for themselves, noticed and asked why, with the same components, for example, microfiber and polyester fiber, there is such a difference in cost. We decided to talk about it, because it is a fascinating topic.
The answer is very simple - different equipment gives different performance, a different number of "manual" processes, and, accordingly, differences in price. If interested, read on.
Ft first, we had two types of machines on which we sewed blankets. The one machine we use to sew Comfort quilts, Aloe Vera, delivers high productivity. Workers fold layers of fabric and filler. And then there is a firmware simultaneously across the entire width of the product. A simple geometric stitch without any frills is available to such a machine. Then seamstresses process the edges of the blanket, the product is checked by the quality control department, packed and delivered to the warehouse. This technology allows us to sew blankets at an affordable price. Yes, the difference may be that the top fabric is microfiber, has a different density, some kind of print or just plain, but in general, such blankets are +/- in the same price range.
In addition, we have equipment on which a completely different production principle takes more time. On these machines, it is possible to create voluminous blankets with a curly stitch. But on this equipment, many processes are done “manually”, it is clear that this method takes more time, so the product is more expensive. On such equipment, the stitch is performed by one needle, and the future blanket is placed like fabric on the hoop. An interesting curly stitch is available to this machine. The filler here is placed on the canvas by factory workers. The border is made separately. This is how we get our Air Dream, Bamboo, Super Soft. Beautiful, voluminous, with a fancy stitch.
In the spring of 2021, we launched a new blanket production line with radically different equipment. Remember our Aphrodite, Woolly? These machines have allowed us to work productively with artificial down and other fillings. Allowed to automate most of the production processes when sewing a blanket. This made it possible to present new interesting models with a completely different cost.
Our factory is constantly working to improve production processes. Follows the latest industry trends to constantly create new interesting collections at the best price. We are upgrading our production facilities so that our textiles are truly the best!
